5 Earth Touchings Meditation + Tea & Community
Second Wednesday of Every Month
Join us for a deeply grounding and heart-opening meditation practice held in the peaceful setting of a local Buddhist temple.
This monthly session centers around the practice of the Five Earth Touchings — a powerful meditation that invites us to physically connect with the earth as a way of cultivating humility, gratitude, healing, and belonging.
Through this embodied practice, we honor:
- Our blood and spiritual ancestors
- The land and cultures we are rooted in
- Those who have caused us suffering, transforming pain into understanding
- The people we love and who support us
- Our connection to community and our own awakened nature
The evening begins with a gentle sitting meditation to settle the mind and body. We then move into the Five Earth Touchings practice, followed by a walking meditation to integrate the experience.
We close with a short Dharma reading or wisdom discussion, and end the evening with tea and community connection — a space to reflect, share, or simply be in the presence of others.
