Fourth Wednesday of Every Month
Join us for an evening of reflection, intention, and mindful living at a peaceful, local Buddhist temple.
This monthly gathering centers around the Five Mindfulness Trainings — a set of practical, compassionate guidelines that support us in living with greater awareness, integrity, and care for ourselves and others.
These trainings invite us to explore:
- Reverence for life – cultivating compassion and protecting all living beings
- True happiness – practicing generosity and ethical livelihood
- True love – fostering responsibility, respect, and care in relationships
- Loving speech & deep listening – communicating with compassion and understanding
- Nourishment & healing – consuming mindfully in ways that support well-being
The evening begins with a gentle sitting meditation to ground the body and mind. We then move into a guided reflection and practice of the Five Mindfulness Trainings, offering space to contemplate how these principles can be embodied in everyday life.
From there, we transition into a walking meditation, followed by a Dharma reading or wisdom discussion to deepen understanding.
We close with tea and community connection—a relaxed, welcoming space to reflect, share, or simply sit in presence together.
