In Somebody Should Do Something, Michael Brownstein presents a raw, satirical look at modern society's indifference toward global issues. The story follows an unnamed narrator who is overwhelmed by the feeling that nothing ever gets done, despite the urgency of world events. As he interacts with a series of eccentric characters, the book explores themes of activism, social responsibility, and the paradox of wanting change without knowing how to initiate it. Through wit and biting humor, Brownstein critiques the paralysis that often accompanies awareness. Ultimately, the novel asks, "What happens when nobody steps up to make a difference?"
