What is the address for the venue and where do I park?

Accepted Answer

SMC's main campus is at 1900 Pico Blvd. The outdoor gathering will be between Drescher Hall and the Humanities and Social Sciences Building (HSS). The screening is in HSS 165 the Harvey Stromberg Lecture Hall.   If driving, route to SMC Parking Structure 3. https://maps.app.goo.gl/yTp2aUUrxRUuRdLs9

Is Parking Free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, after 5pm, parking is free, in Parking Structure 3 only. Parking in other areas may require payment.

Question 3

What food and drinks will be provided?

Accepted Answer

Vegetarian or vegan pizza will be provided. You will be asked to share whether you will be dining and if you have a dietary preference. Water will be available. Cups will not be provided. To help us meet our zero waste goal, please bring a reusable water bottle for water!

Question 4

Can I bring my own food?

Accepted Answer

You are welcome to bring your own food for the outdoor gathering before the screening, especially if you have dietary needs that we are not able to accommodate. Food will not be allowed inside the lecture hall.

If it's free, why do I need to reserve a ticket to attend?

Accepted Answer

You will need a ticket to secure food and a seat. Please check in upon arrival! The lecture hall has a limited capacity. RSVPs will help us prepare.

Can I arrive late?

Accepted Answer

If you do not plan to attend the gathering or will not be eating pizza, please share that response when you reserve your ticket. Doors will open for the screening at 6:15 and close at 6:30pm. Please arrive on time, as you may disrupt the screening by entering after lights are out.
