Join Mommy to Mommy for a fun-filled day of exploring, connecting, and making memories with other moms and families!
We’ll start at the Belle Isle Nature Center, make a quick stop at the Belle Isle Aquarium, and finish our day with a picnic-style lunch and playtime at Campus Martius Park. Light snacks will be provided throughout the day, and food will be available for purchase at Campus Martius if you’d like to bring spending money.

🚗 Important: Belle Isle requires a Michigan Recreation Passport for vehicles entering the island. For Michigan residents, this is typically included with vehicle registration ($14 annual fee if purchased separately). There is no fee to enter Campus Martius Park.
Please note: You are welcome to join us for the entire day or attend only the location(s) that work best for your family. We’d love to have you for the full adventure, but there is no pressure!

Belle Isle Nature Center
176 Lakeside Drive, Detroit, MI 48027. Belle Isle Nature Center Our first stop of the day will be the Belle Isle Nature Center! We will meet at the Nature Center beginning at 11:30 AM and head inside together at 12:00 PM. Families will have the opportunity to explore the exhibits, learn about local wildlife, and connect with other moms. If time and weather permit, we may also enjoy a short walk along one of the nearby nature trails.

Belle Isle Aquarium
3 Inselrhue ave, Detroit, MI 48027. Belle Isle Aquarium After exploring the Nature Center, we’ll take a short drive (less than 10 minutes) to the Belle Isle Aquarium. We’ll spend some time walking through the exhibits, viewing the aquatic life, and enjoying the historic building. This will be a shorter stop, as the aquarium is small, before we head to Campus Martius for our picnic lunch.

800 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48226. Campus Martius Park Our final stop of the day will be Campus Martius Park! We will gather for a picnic-style lunch, relax, and enjoy time together while the kids play. The park offers open green space and a play area for children to explore. There are also food options available nearby for purchase if you’d like to buy lunch, so feel free to bring spending money. This will be a great opportunity to unwind, connect with other families, and end the day making memories together.
