Neon Light Photo Walk - Coachella Valley Photo Club by Kaylarie Gallerie

Join the Coachella Valley Photography Club for a free community photo walk through VillageFest Palm Springs in downtown Palm Springs. This month’s theme is neon lights and nighttime photography.

We’ll explore colorful signs, glowing storefronts, street scenes, reflections, and creative low-light photography techniques while connecting with other local photographers and creatives.

Whether you shoot with a DSLR, mirrorless camera, or phone camera, all experience levels are welcome.

It will still be very hot at 7pm so this event is unfortunately NOT dog-friendly. Check out our upcoming pet-friendly hike the morning of June 21st!

What to Expect

During this relaxed group walk, we’ll practice photographing:

• Neon signs and glowing storefronts
• Nighttime street photography
• Motion blur and light trails
• Reflections and colorful lighting
• Creative compositions after dark

Tips and guidance will be shared throughout the walk, including:

• Low-light camera settings
• Phone photography techniques
• Capturing sharp images at night
• Working with available light creatively

This is a casual, beginner-friendly event focused on creativity, community, and hands-on practice.
