NJ Audubon: Birding With Technology at Hawk Rise Sanctuary
Join us for an introduction to the phone apps for birding and a walk along the trails of Hawk Rise.

Can technology improve your birding experience? Join us on the trails Hawk Rise Wildlife Sanctuary and find out. We will use phone apps to help identify, locate, and record birds as we walk the trails. The primary apps for this program will be Merlin Bird ID and eBird by Cornell Lab. You may consider installing these apps in advance. This program is appropriate for individuals of all ages. Come dressed for the weather. Cold beverages will be served afterwards.

CANCELLATION: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Sorry, no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance unless due to health emergencies; however registrations can be transferred to another program in the future.
