Join Carol Barkin to explore Morristown's first suburb and the Gilded Age millionaires who called it home.

Morris County Historical Society is pleased to partner with local historians and history organizations to present a Morris County Walking Tour Series that celebrates the area’s rich and diverse past . From April through October, join us for nearly 40 guided walking tours that explore almost two dozen communities throughout Morris County, with topics ranging from unique historic districts, downtowns, and neighborhoods to local industries that shaped the landscape, and the individuals who left a lasting impact.

Walk along one of Morris Township’s most fashionable streets and learn about Morristown’s first suburb, the Gilded Age families who lived there, and residential architectural styles of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Led by Carol Barkin of the Morris Township Historic Preservation Commission. Park at the Normandy Park School located at 19 A Normandy Parkway.

FREE. Rain/Shine. Space is limited to 30 participants, pre-registration required.
