On the Canals: Paddle, Pedal Schoharie Crossing to Yankee Hill

Experience the Erie Canal by water and bike on this paddle/pedal adventure through Montgomery County. Participants will launch from Schoharie Crossing Aqueduct, paddle through Lock 12 and transition onto beach bikes at Yankee Hill and pedal back on the bike path returning to Schoharie Crossing. This is approximtely 6.2 miles round-trip. Participants can enjoy an optional early dinner or ice cream at Karen's Produce. Please bring your own helmets. The ability to ride a bike and paddle in a kayak is required.

This program is part of Visit Montgomery County’s “On the Canals” series connecting residents and visitors to recreation, history, and outdoor exploration along the Erie Canalway.
