Opening Reception for Cowboy Craft and Native Hawaiian Fiber Work
These exhibitions feature contemporary artwork emanating out of traditions in the America West.
Please join us to celebrate the openings of two exhibitions that celebrate the continuum of heritage and the handmade, taking inspiration from the landscape, history and culture of the American West. The two exhibitions focus on cowboy arts and Hawaiian indigenous fiber art practices. In each case, the artists show how traditional craft can be revived, reworked and reinvented in the art of today.
