OEC| Harrison Campus
Explore the art of painting in nature in this immersive, hands-on watercolor experience. Working outdoors, we’ll draw inspiration from our surroundings while incorporating ferns and other responsibly gathered plants to create unique textures, patterns, and layered effects in our work. Participants will learn how to observe and interpret natural light, especially the bright, shifting qualities of summer, and translate that into luminous, expressive paintings. We’ll cover techniques such as imprinting, resist methods, and thoughtful layering to add depth and dimension. This class is perfect for all skill levels and encourages slowing down, connecting with nature, and experimenting creatively in a relaxed, supportive setting.
