Embark on a two-hour culinary adventure with Chef Samuel of Crooked Spoon Co. in this hands-on pasta-making class. This immersive experience delves into the art of crafting pasta from scratch, starting with the selection of premium ingredients and the intricacies of different flours. Under Chef Samuel's expert guidance, participants will roll up their sleeves to master the techniques of kneading, rolling, and shaping various pasta varieties. Engage in lively discussions and anecdotes from Chef Samuel's culinary journey while learning the perfect pairings of pasta shapes with different sauces. The class culminates in a delightful tasting session, offering participants the chance to sample a pasta dish of Chef's creation. Whether you're a novice or an experienced home cook, Chef Samuel's pasta-making class promises a memorable blend of learning and laughter, empowering you to create delectable dishes at home with the pasta you made.--------------------------------------------------------Beer, wine, and seltzer water will be available for purchase at the Carriage House that evening. We can not accommodate dietary restrictions for this particular workshop. Dinner will include gluten and dairy.

A native of St. George Maine, Chef Samuel spent his early years learning pasta techniques under Chef Melissa Kelly of Primo Restaurant. After attending the Culinary Institute of America, Samuel honed his skills in New York, Utah, and DC, eventually helping to create the pasta program at Osteria in Philadelphia alongside Chef Jeff Michaud. Now with Crooked Spoon Co., he is focusing on bringing his love of all things pasta back to the Midcoast.
