Join We Explore Earth for a refreshing morning on the trails — this time with your four-legged friends! Paws on the Trail is a co-ed community hike designed to bring people (and pups!) together to connect, move, and explore the outdoors.
Whether you’re looking to meet new people, get active, or simply enjoy a peaceful start to your day surrounded by nature, this hike is for you.

Location: Black Walnut & Powder Canyon Motorway Loop
Coordinates: (33.96576, -117.91763)
Meet Time: 6:30 AM
Hike Start Time: 6:45 AM SHARP
Distance: 2.1 miles (loop)
Elevation Gain: 387 ft
Level: Moderate (beginner-friendly with light incline)
🐾 What to Bring:
• Plenty of water and snacks for yourself and your pup
• Comfortable hiking shoes
• Dog essentials (leash required, waste bags, treats, etc.)
• Sun protection, layers, and good energy

• Please be prepared to turn back if needed for safety
• Respect others’ space and comfort levels on trail
• Be alert for snakes and wildlife, especially during warmer weather
• No restrooms available at this trailhead
