Poetry Camp: Day Passes
Part of the NY Events collection
Overview
Poetry Camp is an annual, age-inclusive summer camp for poets, dreamers and wild creatives at the bucolic Outliner Inn in upstate New York.
Think poetry seminars with world-famous poets while lazing in a grassy field; poetry-sharing and myth-making gathered around a star-blanketed bonfire; midday lake dips after guided writing sessions; poetry workshops surrounded by farm animals—you get the idea.
And for those who can’t carve out time and space for the full five-day, four-night campout, we’re offering single day passes for Saturday, August 15th!
A few things you can expect include:
- A morning movement session with Lawrence Dreyfus
- A seminar with our Poetry Camp headliner Mahogany L. Browne
- An intensive small-group workshop
- Various creative electives to choose from
- A “study hall” style guided writing session
- An early evening salon + open mic
- Dinner
- Our closing campfire talent show, complete with readings, musical acts, surprise acts from our camp counselors, and more!
