Embark on a journey into the vibrant world of pollinators! Led by Dr. Heather Kalaman, UF/IFAS Extension Faculty, this class is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to create a thriving habitat for Florida's incredible pollinator species. We will delve into the importance of pollinators, the art of identifying pollinator species that play a crucial role in our local ecosystems, explore practical techniques on how to grow and care for flowers that are not only visually captivating but are also nutrient-rich, and other valuable insights for nurturing a thriving pollinator habitat in your very own landscape. Don't miss out on this informative class that will empower you to make a positive impact on the environment through your gardening practices.
Cost of Registration: $5.00. Registration includes access to the class, two take home Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ books, and a pollinator-friendly flower seed packet.
Cancellation policy: Classes are subject to cancellation if a minimum number of attendees are not booked. If class is cancelled you will receive a notification, and a refund confirmation to the e-mail that is provided during the registration process.
