PorchFest | Rhode Island Avenue

PorchFest on Rhode Island Avenue returns Saturday, June 13, activating nearly three miles of the corridor with live music scattered across residential porches, stoops, front yards, and commercial storefronts. The festival invites residents and visitors to explore the avenue while discovering local musicians, neighborhood businesses, and community spaces.

This year marks a return to the PorchFest name and format, bringing the event back to its neighborhood roots after several years of larger-scale programming through The Fest, where DC Squared led expanded main-stage activations. PorchFest refocuses the celebration on the residential and small business spirit that made it a beloved Northeast DC tradition.

As part of DC Squared’s mission to strengthen access in Northeast DC through arts, culture, and economic vitality, we are partnering with transportation providers, run and bike groups, and affinity organizations to help attendees move throughout the corridor and become new regulars of the corridor.
