Pottery Painting Session

Think of this as coloring… but with pottery.

At this 2-hour paint-your-own pottery session, we’ll walk you through the basics of underglaze (aka paint for pottery) and glaze, then let you play with colors, patterns and different tools to make your pottery piece your own. Bring a piece you’ve made at one of our workshops or with our at-home kit... or choose from our selection of premade pottery pieces (priced separately - check out the selection of available pieces for purchase here). We’ll glaze and fire it so it comes back glossy, durable as well as waterproof and food-safe — ready for sipping, snacking, or showing off.

• Pottery Painting 101: Our fab host will introduce how to use different paint brushes and tools with underglaze, then set you free to decorate your piece your way using our vibrant underglazes!
• Materials Provided: We supply 15+ underglaze colors, paintbrushes, and a variety of other tools and materials — you just bring yourself and the pottery piece you made at one of our workshops that you want to paint...or purchase a piece from our selection of premade pieces (priced separately - check out the selection of available pieces for purchase here. You can purchase in advance or when you arrive for your painting session).

• Method of Return: If you select a "Ship to me" ticket, your piece(s) will be processed and shipped back to you after the glazing/firing process is complete in 6-8 weeks. If you select "Pickup", your piece(s) will be processed and available for pickup at the Pottery with a Purpose Studio (178 Crescent Rd Suite 1, Needham, MA 02494).
