Preserve the Harvest: Wildlife Conservation & Preservation
Join Rockingham and Guilford County agents to learn all about preserving wild game, food plots, and more! Lunch is provided.
This program is applicable to anyone interested in wild game, so whether you are a hunter or just interested in utilizing wild game, we have something for you!
Check In starts at 9:30am and programs start promptly at 10am. Lunch is provided.
Youth 12 years of age and older are welcome.
Classes will cover topics on:
- Canning wild game
- Food safe practices when handling and harvesting wild game.
- Food plots, baiting, and acceptable agricultural practices when hunting.
- Chronic Wasting Disease in deer and harvesting guidelines.
- Dehydrating wild game.
- Proper storage of wild game.
