PSNY's Mid-Year Virtual Community Showcase & Open Mic!

On Tuesday, June 30th 7PM-8:15PM EST, PSNY will be hosting our second Virtual Community Showcase & Open Mic! We welcome you to gather with us for a night filled with the voices of our community as we spotlight the poetry being written in PSNY’s virtual programs! This event will feature work written in our Free Verse Workshops for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, & Immigrant Writers, Weekly Virtual Workshops, & Poetry Intensives. This an opportunity to share in the joy & possibility that happens when poetry is made accessible, nourishing, & collective. The first half of the event will feature 10 writers from these three virtual programs, while the second half of the event will be an open mic format where anyone has the opportunity to share their work simply by raising the hand on zoom!

To make this event as accessible as possible, all tickets will be pay what you can. All donations will go directly to PSNY's Community Fund!

Have you attended one of our Weekly Virtual Workshops, Free Verse Workshops, or Six-Week Intensives and written a poem inspired by what you learned? Do you want the opportunity to read your work alongside a supportive community of writers? Come join us next Tuesday & read something you have written during our Open Mic! We hope to hear as many poets as time allows.
