Queer and Trans Hiking Fell-ows - Pride Hike!

Overview

Celebrate Pride Month with us! Join us for this FREE hike to meet new friends in the LGBTQIA+ community in the outdoors!

Appropriate for: Members of the LGBTQIA+ community

Difficulty: Moderate (rocky trails with some elevation)

About the hike: Join us for this FREE hike to meet new friends in the LGBTQIA+ community in the outdoors! This hike will include rocky footing and elevation changes with the potential for muddy trails. It is about 3-4 miles long. We stay together as a group and walk at about a 25-30 minute per mile pace.

Hike location will be sent to attendees before the event via email.

We recommend sturdy boots or trail sneakers, pants, tall socks, water, layers, sunglasses, a hat, a reusable water bottle, and snacks.

We also highly recommend microspikes or crampons if there is snow and ice present on the trails; they will be slippery!

Dogs: Furry friends are welcome as long as they are on a leash!

Parking: Location sent to attendees once they register.

Please note that there are typically no restrooms at the starting site.

Anticipated steady rain or lightning cancels.
