Welcome to Rek Fest, the North Country's newest outdoor festival. In an effort to highlight the magical place we call home, the White Mountains, we are calling all outdoor enthusiasts to spend a weekend blazing the trails with us.
This basecamp style festival is geared to highlight the local lifestyle, businesses and guides of the North Country.
Featuring a Friday night kickoff with live music, vendor village, gear swap, raffle and an exclusive screening of Best Day Ever (learn more at https://www.bestdayever.mov/).
Followed by a Saturday loaded with guided excursions through the White Mountains and an evening Music Festival.

HIKING:
ACT NATURE WALK - Join the Ammonoosuc conservation trust (our beneficiary non profit) and explore the newly acquired 700 acres along the Ammonoosuc river. a future prospect for new public trails!
BRIDAL VEIL FALL WITH FRANCONIA BASE CAMP - Take a hike with owner of franconia basecamp Jill brewer. This easier hike will explore a north country local spot located in the easton valley. enjoy the beauty of the Bridal Veil Fall!
GARFIELD WITH REK’- LIS OWNER MARLAINA - Owner of rek’ - lis brewing, marlaina renton, will take you on her favorite hike! An intermediate adventure to the summit of Mount Garfield to enjoy the views of the Pemigewasset wilderness!

BIKING:
GREEN RIDE - Explore the lower BTA network and showcase some of the adaptive trails. This ride will be beginner-friendly. Approximately a 1-hour ride.
BLUE RIDE - Explore our intermediate lower flow trails to the river and sample the bottom half of our flagship trail, Shoulder Roll. Approximately a 1.5 - 2 hour ride.
EXPERIENCED RIDE - Summit to Stream, the "Whole BTA" ride from the Agassiz summit to the Ammonoosuc River for 3.5 miles of downhill trails and 1000ft of climbing and descent. This will be a fitness and distance ride from town to the summit, and back. Approximately a 2.5 - 3 hour ride.
ADVANCED RIDE - Explore two exposed granite trails from the top of Mt. Agassiz. This will be a more downhill-focused ride and will utilize a shuttle up to a high point below the summit. This ride will involve some climbing and will stop to scout advanced features. Approximately a 2.5 - 3 hour ride.
FRIDAY AFTERNOON SHUTTLE RIDES - This "JV ride," as the locals call it, will shuttle to a high point on the network and opt for either a short Agassiz summit climb before descending, or a straight shot down Shoulder Roll with an option to ride to the river while still making it to Reklis for the evening events.

CLIMBING (PREMIUM EXPERIENCE):
CLIMBING FOR GYM CLIMBERS - Ready to climb outside! This course is designed for gym climbers and complete beginners who want to experience real rock and learn the fundamentals of outdoor climbing in a supportive environment.
INTRO TO CLIMBING GRANITE - Want to experience New Hampshire's finest granite? Whether it's your first day climbing or you're looking to hone your granite crack techniques, this clinic will be perfect for you.
WOMEN AND NON BINARY CLINIC - Curious about climbing outside? This course is designed for gym climbers and complete beginners who want to experience real rock and learn the fundamentals of outdoor climbing in a supportive all womens and non binary environment.

FLY FISHING (PREMIUM EXPERIENCE):
Join Lloyds Guiding service to get a start on what will be your new found passion for fly fishing. Jim McCann of Lloyds, will start the trip having you learn and practice your casting and getting comfortable with the rods, reels, and other equipment you will be using for the rest of the trip. You will then move to the river and put your skills into practice. You will learn how to read the water and select the best flies for success. You will be walking along and in the river so be prepared to explore and get your feet wet
Step two:
Choose your adventure
- Once you grab your tickets, you will get a separate form with available adventures you can sign up for. We will have a wide variety of group led adventures such as, mountain biking, hiking, gravel riding, trail running, and more!
Step three:
Friday night check in
- Come Friday night, check in at the Pint House to get your welcome pack. Take the time to meet your guide and anyone else who may be in your group. We will have live music, beer, food trucks and our film screening at 7:30pm!
Step four:
Saturday adventure
- Saturday morning you will meet your guide at their designated location and time! Spend the whole day playing in the White Mountains then join us back at the pint house for live music, gear swap, raffle and our vendor village!
All profits will benefit the Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust, in an effort to continue the expansion of protected public lands in the North Country.
