Reset and Recharge: Relaxation Session at Wellbeing Week
A short, practical workshop using breathwork and relaxation to help health and care staff recharge and support wellbeing.
Fiona Douglas, Wellbeing Lead at the Scottish Ambulance Service, will facilitate this session, aimed at offering participants time out of their normal day to focus on their own wellbeing.
This half-hour practical, guided session for Scotland’s health and social care workforce to pause, breathe and reset—with simple breathwork and relaxation techniques that can be used straight away, no experience needed.
The session will be an interactive workshop, including breathwork, a progressive muscle relaxation and focussed time to recharge, leaving participants with tools they can continue to use after the session to improve their own wellbeing.
No equipment or previous experience is necessary, this will be a very informal session, everyone is welcome.
Fiona will stay on the call at the end of the 30 minute practical session to take feedback and answer any questions participants might have about the role breathwork and mindfulness can play in health and wellbeing, and her experiences of using these techniques in a workplace setting.
