A 3 Week Yin + Restorative Yoga Therapy Experience at Adjourn Teahouse

Rest can feel impossible when your body is overwhelmed—but when you feel safe again, it becomes your superpower.

Slowing down isn’t always easy.

You try to rest…
but your mind keeps going.
Your body doesn’t settle.

You might feel tired,
but still can’t fully relax.

Sometimes being still makes you feel more anxious, not less.

And if you’ve been through stress, burnout, or injury…
your body might not feel like a place you can trust yet.

So instead, you keep going.
You push through.
You hold it all together.

This is a space where you don’t have to do that.

You don’t have to force yourself to relax.
You don’t have to get it right.

You can just come in,
be supported,
and slowly start to feel at home in your body again.


🌿 What may begin to shift

Right now, things might feel like this:

  • You’re always a little on edge
  • It’s hard to slow down, even when you want to
  • Your body feels tight, tired, or hard to read
  • Rest doesn’t really feel restful

Over these 3 weeks, something can begin to shift.

Not all at once. Not forced.

But gently, you may start to notice:

  • your body softening, even just a little
  • your breath feeling easier
  • moments where your mind gets quieter
  • a sense that your body might be safe again

You don’t have to fix everything.

Just feeling a little more
calm
supported
connected

can change so much.


🌿 What you’ll experience

Each class is slow, supportive, and simple.

You’ll be guided through:

  • gentle Yin and Restorative shapes (fully supported with props)
  • small ways to help your body feel safe again
  • calming aromatherapy to help your body begin to feel calm again
  • space to release tension—physically and emotionally
  • quiet moments where you can just be, without pressure
  • one session featuring sound bowls
  • a closing tea experience with Adjourn Teahouse

Nothing is rushed.
Nothing is forced.

You’ll always have options.
You’ll always be supported.


🌿 A different kind of practice

This isn’t just a yoga class.

It’s a space guided by yoga therapy and aromatherapy,
designed to help your body slow down and feel more at ease.

Everything is offered gently,
so you can move at your own pace
and begin to rebuild trust in your body.

You don’t have to keep pushing through.

If something in you is feeling tired…
if your body has been asking for rest…
this can be a place to begin.

As summer begins,
this is an invitation to slow down—
even just a little.

To soften.
To breathe.
To come back to yourself.
