How can I participate?

Participants should be prepared to work with soil, native plants, pollinator habitats, and natural materials in an outdoor environment. Tasks may include watering, planting, seed collection, mulching, weeding, organizing plant materials, and supporting habitat restoration efforts.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable outdoor clothing suitable for gardening and light physical activity. Long pants, breathable layers, closed-toe shoes are strongly encouraged. Dress for weather conditions, including sun, wind, uneven ground. Hats, sunscreen, reusable water bottles are recommended. Stay hydrated.

What do I need to bring?

Accepted Answer

We recommend bringing one gallon of water for plant watering support during conservation and garden activities. No heavy tools or specialized construction equipment will be required for these activities. Gloves are optional but recommended for comfort when working with soil, mulch, and plant debris.

Are there any other considerations?

Handle plants carefully and follow guidance provided by conservationists regarding native species preservation and conservation practices. Respect for shared community space, ecological restoration areas, and fellow participants is essential throughout all activities.
