Join NWTA and OSU on June 16 for a group ride at Tualatin Mountain Forest (Rocky Point). Led by Jake Barker (OSU Extension Forester), the ride will include several stops to explore various forestry topics, including: forest ecology, restoration forestry, management and recreation. We will visit the recently harvested areas and discuss approaches to ecological silviculture in western Oregon. We will also share ongoing OSU/NWTA collaborations, including the ongoing recreation survey.
Distance: 6 miles
Climbing: 1,200’
Trails: Greens and Blues
Pace: Social pace, no-drop. We are here to have fun and learn about forestry, not achieve our KOM/QOMs. :)
