Where and when should I arrive for the MORNING cruise?

Accepted Answer

The dock is located just behind the Connecticut River Academy at 9 Riverside Dr, East Hartford, CT 06118. There is an accessible path down to the dock. The cruise departs at 10am sharp! Please plan to be at the dock no later than 9:45am.

Question 2

Where and when should I arrive for the AFTERNOON cruise?

Accepted Answer

The afternoon cruise begins at 2pm. Please arrive a the dock by 1:45pm. After Leila Philip's talk,  you will drive .5 miles to CT River Academy at 9 Riverside Dr and re-park. There is an accessible path down to the dock. Your day ends when the boat returns at 3:00pm.

Question 3

If I didn't sign up for a cruise, what is the timing of the day for me?

10:30am-1:30pm -- Brunch will be open 10:30am-12:15pm.  We will then move to the adjascent auditorium for Leila Phillip's talk  from 12:30-1:30pm.

Question 4

I am coming just for the Annual Meeting and/or Guest Speaker. Where can I park?

All events (except for the boat cruises) will be held at Goodwin University, 1 Riverside Drive, E. Hartford, CT. A free parking lot is directly in front of the main entrance.

Question 5

Is the site accessible?

Accepted Answer

Goodwin University is a fully accessible space. The parking lots are paved and flat.  The Navigator can accommodate standard-sized wheelchairs. There are no restrooms on the boat, but there are several at the main campus, where the meeting and brunch will be held.
