The Hutchinson River Restoration Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to the long-term protection and restoration of the Hutchinson River. We are committed to working with local communities, politicians, and other environmental organizations to ensure that the river is restored to a healthy habitat.Our mission is to restore and enhance the health of the Hutchinson River for current and future generations. Join HRRP for Our First “Boots Required” Cleanup! We’re heading into the reeds at Rodman’s Neck on Friday, July 19th from 9 AM to 1 PM to clean out plastic and other debris. This area is about 2 inches underwater, so waterproof boots or shoes that can get wet are a must.​We’ll be working in tall grasses, so long sleeves and pants are strongly recommended for comfort and protection.Need boots? No problem—just email melissasw@hutchinsonriver.org and we’ll get you suited up.We’ll provide:<ul><li>Gloves</li><li>Grabbers</li><li>Trash bags</li><li>Sunscreen</li><li>Bug spray</li></ul>Please bring your own water and snacks.Let’s make a difference—one bootprint at a time! ~Parking is available in the parking lot.~Buses stop within a five minute walk to the location.​~Please purchase a ticket for everyone in your group so we have an accurate headcount.~By purchasing a ticket you are agreeing to our <a href="https://bit.ly/HRRPWaiver" title="https://bit.ly/HRRPWaiver" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Waiver</a>.
