Glass Blowing Classes

May 16 &amp; 17, Saturday &amp; Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.Class Duration: 2 sessions, 12 hours totalLocation: Glass StudioAges: 16 &amp; aboveClass Limit: 4 to 6Class Fee: $300Instructor: Studio StaffPrerequisite: NoneRegistration Closing: May 9In this beginner-friendly hot casting workshop, participants will use a variety of rigid objects to create hollow cavities in a bed of sand. These cavities will then be filled with molten glass. Participants will have the opportunity to observe and learn how to ladle hot glass. Various objects, colors, and metal inclusions will be provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own objects as well. Objects should be rigid; cloth, soft, porous, or easily scratched objects are not recommended. After this time, workshop fees are non-refundable. WheatonArts reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to minimum enrollment. If cancellation occurs, WheatonArts will refund all workshop fees. A $25 fee is charged to those who do not show up for their appointment.
