Join UF/IFAS Extension Family and Consumer Sciences Agent Andrea Nikolai for this hands-on canning workshop where you learn how to do water bath canning!Learn how to safely preserve foods using the water bath method, explore the key differences between water bath and pressure canning, and get hands-on experience by canning your own jar of salsa to take home!You can take the skills you learn to can other foods, such as pickles, jams, and fruits. Leave with the confidence to do it at home!Thursday, July 17, 6:00 pm-8:00 pmYou will be able to take your jar home, so please bring a small box or towel with you as the jar will still be hot.Materials are provided in class. Eventbrite fees are nonrefundable, and no class fee refunds one week before the class.
