SC7 + Nature at Work Trail Talks: Resilience in Action

Join the South Carolina Office of Resilience, Nature at Work, the South Carolina Healthy Business Coalition, and SC7 for a special Nature at Work Trail Talks experience exploring how resilience, placemaking, and connection to nature can shape healthier communities.

Hosted in Columbia’s BullStreet District, this experiential gathering will highlight the intersection of resilience planning, healthy community design, and nature-based solutions in action.

The program will begin at the South Carolina Office of Resilience in the historic Mills Building with SCOR Resilience 101, conversation on resilience and healthy places, and discussion of SCOR’s partnership with Nature at Work and integration of nature into its new headquarters. Participants will then transition to nearby Page Ellington Park to explore nature-based resilience solutions in action through a guided outdoor experience focused on green infrastructure and healthy community design.

This special Trail Talks experience will bring together SC7 participants, community leaders, planners, and others interested in the connection between nature, resilience, health, and place.

Following the program, attendees are invited to continue the conversation informally at Gather Cola or elsewhere in the BullStreet District.

• Dress comfortably, as part of the experience includes a guided outdoor walk
• Some stair access is required beyond elevator service in the Mills Building
