Crown Point Ecology Center is a 501c3 non-profit located at 3220 Ira Rd., Akron, OH 44333. The mission of Crown Point is to demonstrate the practical applications of ecology and to connect spirituality, social justice and environmental protection. Our beautiful115 acre property in Bath Ohio is home to woodlands, prairies, ponds and agricultural land. Come and walk our trails and explore our land.

Seasons on the Land is a ONGOING monthly guided walk that invites participants to slow down, observe closely, and experience Crown Point.

Seasons on the Land: Monthly Walks at Crown Point

Slow down and explore the changing seasons through guided walks at Crown Point Ecology Center. Notice, learn, and connect with nature each month.

Held once per month from April through November, these walks offer a gentle, immersive way to connect with Crown Point’s fields, gardens, woods, and water. Each walk highlights what is unfolding on the land that month—emerging life in spring, abundance in summer, and transition in fall—while exploring the ecological relationships that support healthy landscapes and food systems.Led by Crown Point staff and guest guides, walks may include:<ul><li>Seasonal observations of plants, wildlife, and farm activity</li><li>Insights into ecological processes, land stewardship, and regenerative practices</li><li>Time for quiet reflection, curiosity, and shared conversation</li><li>Opportunities to notice details often missed in everyday life</li></ul>These walks are not hikes or lectures. They are intentionally paced, accessible, and designed for all levels of experience. Whether you are new to nature-based learning or deeply familiar with the land, each month offers something different to discover.
