SheJumps Get the Girls Out! is a national campaign to unite women as they support, challenge, mentor, and inspire each other in the outdoor sports world. SheJumps Get The Girls Out! events are held near International Women’s Day (annually on March 8).

Join SheJumps as we celebrate <a href="https://www.shejumps.org/get-the-girls-out" title="https://www.shejumps.org/get-the-girls-out" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Get the Girls Out! </a>– a nationwide campaign uniting women and girls- transgender and cisgender- as well as non-binary individuals to embrace the great outdoors while fostering a sense of adventure and camaraderie. Spurred by International Women's Day, this program is a call to action for participants of all ages to connect with nature, break down barriers, and celebrate their achievements and strengths throughout the month of March. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a newcomer, the Get the Girls Out! gatherings aim to foster a community where participants can thrive outdoors, inspire one another and younger generations, forge new connections, and rekindle friendships. Grab your friends, and get ready to make unforgettable memories!<h3>Join us in Lakeside, MT at Blacktail Mountain for a full day of skiing, riding, and fun on March 15th!</h3>Who can attend? We welcome all women and girls,transgender and cisgender, as well as non-binary people to attend this event. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire event.Cost: Cost to participate is free, but lift tickets are not included. Participants are responsible for providing their own lift ticket. Early registration gets you one free raffle ticket, and additional raffle tickets can be purchased at the event.Activities: There will be opportunities to have group ski and snowboarding and an uphill skin throughout the day, and a raffle! All day events include dressing in your brightest colors and sporting your girafficorn, and participating in our hunt for the girraficorn. Find the girafficorns through out the mountain and take your picture with them, when you find them all you’ll be entered to win a prize at the raffle!Finding SheJumps at the base area: There will be a she jumps tent that will be set up outside the lodge off the second floor doors!<h3>Timeline:</h3><ul><li>9:30-10:00am - Register and meet ups at the tent</li><li>10:00am - Group photo</li><li>10:15am - Goup ski and board</li><li>12:30pm - Post lunch ski/skin</li><li>2:00pm - Group ski and board</li><li>3:00pm - Raffle at the She Jumps Tent</li><li>3:30pm - Event ends</li></ul>This is an all-day event with the option to participate in whatever activities you like.What to bring: Bring anything you need to be comfortable for a day of skiing/riding. This could include extra layers, snacks, sun protection, water, hand warmers, medications, etc. While we don't require helmets, we encourage all participants to wear helmets while skiing/snowboarding! SheJumps will have a basic first aid kit at the base area tent.We’re all about FUN! Feel free to bring your inner Girafficorn and wear colorful, silly, and unique attire. Costumes are encouraged! Do you have some amazing leggings and a tutu? A stellar onesie? Vintage ski gear? A fun wig? Throw it on! When picking out your costume, remember to be mindful of cultural appropriation and choose a costume that respects all backgrounds and world cultures. Not into dressing up? TOTALLY COOL! Bring your happy self and let's hit the slopes!<h3>FAQ's &amp; Other Event Information</h3>Parking and getting to the event: Parking is free, as always at Blacktail, please respect the parking staff and park in the parking lots. While no public transportation is available, we encourage you to invite a friend and carpool if you can!Facility information: Gendered bathrooms are available at the base area on both levels of the lodge.Accessibility information: The base area is ADA accessible. Adaptive skiers and riders are welcome to attend and participate!We want to support all participants in enjoying this event to the fullest.
