For more than 100 years, the Pacific Northwest College of Art has served as a dynamic creative center for emerging artists, designers, and creators with an educational philosophy that emphasizes individualized curricula, independent inquiry, and cross-disciplinary exchange. PNCA students explore, experiment  and reimagine the world. At the creative heart of Portland, PNCA is a center for artists, designers, and scholars, presenting  a wide array of free public programs and exhibitions for our community.

Shit Show, the joint effort of PNCA’s MFA Visual Studies &amp; Print Media programs, demonstrates interdisciplinary journeys into embracing the unknown and making meaning. This exhibition marks momentariness as a powerful source of interchange between urgency and slowing down. It is an ultimate deferment that disregards the absolute qualities of a journey's start and finish. Its work embodies the passionate return to the self and celebrates the outcome of artists in conversation with each other. Overall, Shitshow encourages making a mess within a chaotic world while actively reflecting upon it.
