As part of our mission, Honest Weight Food Co-op offers free community wellness classes each month. We will explore smoke beyond BBQ; using smoke as a flavor element, even as the star of the show.

Teaching Kitchen @ Honest Weight Food Co-op

Chef David Stein will show you how to smoke foods at home with a low cost stove top smoker. We will make Chef David’s famous Smoked Onion Crispies, Smoked Mushroom Carpaccio, and Smoked Red Potato Salad and Smoked Tomato Vinaigrette.David is a career chef with decades ofexperience in everything from fine dining to food trucks. He was saucierfor the Parker House Hotel, Executive Chef for the Harborview Dining Room atthe Boston Federal Reserve Bank, Executive Chef for Suffolk Law School, and Chef/Proprietor of Brother Trucker Commissary and the Go Fish truck. Chef Stein is now focusing on private chef gigs throughout the Capital Region andbeyond.
