Free book-making workshop and support groups for individuals with special needs & their siblings. 3 sessions remaining, or join in anytime
Join A Place to Belong, a free 6-week book-making workshop during our Special Needs + Siblings Support Groups(ages 10+).
This program creates a welcoming, low-pressure space to connect with peers, build friendships, and express thoughts and feelings in a safe, supportive environment.
✨ What Makes This Group Different?
While many programs focus on activities, we focus on the person — creating space for connection, expression, and meaningful relationships.
The Experience
Over the course the workshop participants will create a Personal Book — a project designed to help express their story, feelings, and experiences.
• Connect with peers through guided social activities
• Share your voice in a safe, supportive space
• Build friendships and a sense of belonging
• Optional sharing on the final day — only if comfortable
