For 42 years, the Asociación de Salud Primaria de Puerto Rico (ASPPR) has remained committed to supporting its members—the health centers across the island—ensuring that quality healthcare is accessible to everyone, regardless of geographic location or financial circumstances. Each year, ASPPR member organizations facilitate over 1.8 million patient encounters, providing care to more than 470,000 individuals and demonstrating a powerful impact on community health.

Today, the network of 330 Health Centers operates more than 90 service locations throughout Puerto Rico, ensuring broad access to essential services and comprehensive healthcare coverage for all Puerto Ricans. In addition to their critical role in delivering care, the Health Centers generate over 5,000 direct jobs and support many more indirect employment opportunities, contributing significantly to Puerto Rico’s economic stability and community well-being.
