The Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club is a volunteer organization dedicated to providing waterfront access and education about our estuary and shoreline neighborhoods.  Join us for canoe voyages, musical performances, literary events, and hands-on science programming.

Join us for a bone-rattling evening of music, laughter, and mischief on the canal! Celebrate New York’s clean waterways, community spirit, and artistic flair with a costume-required paddle parade, followed by the Halloween Cabaret. Don your spookiest Gowanus costume and join us for a haunting of the canal with a parade of fellow Gowanusians, floating artworks of Gowanus past and future, and create a splash (without falling in!) for shoreside on-lookers as they begin their Halloween night.
