What is Seagrape Apothecary?

We are a queer owned, witch-centric, pleasure-focused apothecary and shop based in Portland, Oregon, operating through brick-and-mortar as well as online. Seagrape was established in 2009 and the shop has been in Portland since 2015!

Question 2

I've never done anything witchy before - can I still come?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Our events are open to babes of all magical skill levels and curiosities! Whether you are a baby witch, a seasoned practitioner, or new to the magical world entirely, we'd love to have you! You do not have to identify as a witch to join us for a magical gathering.

Question 3

Do I need to wear a mask/respirator?

Accepted Answer

Please wear a mask (N95s preferred!) from 11 am-1 pm while you are visiting the shop. To keep our community safe, we ask that everyone wear their masks in the shop during these hours. If you're experiencing any COVID symptoms prior to the gathering, please do not attend.

What will this event be like?

Seagrape Apothecary is a queer-inclusive, community-oriented space full of magic. Each event is different but we are community focused and beginner-friendly. Open dialogue and questions are greatly encouraged whether the class is being held in person or over zoom.

Do you have equity-based tickets?

Accepted Answer

We do offer limited free BIPOC tickets for each gathering we host as a way to ensure that Black, Indigenous, and People of Color have access to the magic we are weaving. These tickets are first come, first served, so email us at events@seagrapeapothecary.com to reserve your spot! We're happy to sign

Where do I park?

Seagrape Apothecary is located at 2823 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland, Oregon 97232. Please DO NOT park in the Centaur Guitar parking lot! There's residential parking available just one block away, and a bus stop directly in front of the store for folks taking public transit.

Question 7

Will I be able to shop during or after this event?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We are usually open for about 30 minutes after class, so you can snag all the tools you need! Our shop is also open Wednesdays - Saturdays from 11AM - 5PM if you didn't get a chance to shop afterwards. The Online shop is open 24/7 so you can prepare your wishlist ahead of time!

Is my ticket refundable?

Accepted Answer

All tickets are nonrefundable. COVID Exceptions: If an attendee tests positive for COVID and reaches out prior to an in-person class to let us know, a class credit for the ticket value will be issued and will be valid for 1 year.

Question 9

Is the shop space accessible?

Accepted Answer

Our shop is mobility device accessible with no steps or stairs, including the single-stall, gender-neutral restroom. We are not a scent-free space, so our space is very (natural) scent-heavy. Masks are required every day we are open from 11am-1pm and for every in-person class.
