Standing Against Violence: Personal Safety Workshops

While it is common to simply instruct women on what to do in dangerous situations, we believe that preventing attacks altogether is the most effective approach. Assault prevention requires preparation, planning and practice. By equipping students with practical techniques and an empowering mindset, we help women lead more secure and confident lives.   Unlike traditional self-defense programs, Battle Woman® takes a holistic multi-faceted approach to personal safety and empowerment, encompassing both physical skills and mental resilience.  Our goal is to prepare and empower women to effectively manage potentially dangerous situations from start to finish, ensuring they are well-prepared.  Whether it’s corporate workshops or private personal safety training we offer scenario-based and focuses on technical skills that are easy to learn and can be applied in real life situations. Our workshops are perfect for anyone who wants to feel empowered and confident when it comes to their personal safety.

Our workshops equip and empower women to confidently navigate potentially dangerous situations from start to finish. We focus on practical, easy-to-learn techniques that can be effectively applied in real-life scenarios.

This October, in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we’re hosting a series of low cost personal safety and defense workshops each Thursday at 6:00pm to support, educate, and empower our community.Together, we’ll focus on:<ul><li>Awareness &amp; prevention skills: recognizing red flags and trusting your instincts.</li><li>Verbal strategies: setting boundaries and using your voice with confidence.</li><li>Simple, effective defense skill training: easy-to-learn skills for real-life situations.</li></ul>Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming space where participants can learn practical tools, build confidence, and connect with others who are also committed to standing against violence.Details:<ul><li>Low cost and open to the public</li><li>No prior experience required</li><li>All genders and ages (13+) welcome</li><li>Wear comfortable clothing</li></ul>
