From photographing every U.S. president from Jimmy Carter to Donald Trump, to capturing world leaders, politicians, celebrities, tech innovators, authors, professors, models — and even spies and infamous figures — Rick’s career has placed him at the center of history.

His work has appeared in leading publications including Time, National Geographic, Newsweek, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, Nature, Discover, The Times of London, Der Spiegel, Paris Match, Kyodo News, and hundreds more. His photographs have also been featured on ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, Fox, CNN, Saturday Night Live, and Real Time with Bill Maher.

Rick has created more than 85 book and magazine covers and contributed to over 20 films and television productions. For more than two decades, he has traveled the world teaching his acclaimed “Location Lighting Workshops,” inspiring photographers at every level.
