Stormwater Smart Solutions Series

The UF/IFAS Stormwater Smart Solutions program involves adult and youth educational seminars and hands-on volunteer projects you can attend to help reduce stormwater pollution and restore natural systems in Pasco County. Attend a talk or volunteer with us

<h2>Overview</h2>You will learn about solutions you can adopt at home or in your community to help reduce stormwater pollution and restore natural systems. We will discuss stormwater pollution sources, environmental impacts, and nature-based solutions that you can use to help protect our watershed. The program will also introduce an upcoming hands-on community volunteer opportunity, supported by the Tampa Bay Estuary Program Bay Mini Grant and the Tarpon Tag, where attendees can take part in the restoration of a local retention pond system to restore habitat and actively reduce nutrient loading.
