Strengthening the Violence Prevention Network in Austin & Travis County

True safety is built when we work as a team. Following City Council direction, we are launching an effort to strengthen and connect our local violence prevention work.

This strategy is shaped by the real struggles and solutions stakeholders shared during recent listening sessions and focus groups hosted by Dr. Chico Tillmon. We want to honor the leadership and work already happening in our communities, and to introduce models from other cities that blend government resources with community power to interrupt violence.

Join us to help build a coordinated network where government, community groups, and public safety work together as one—built on accountability and designed to last, keeping our families safe.

This event will be held in the neighborhood center gymnasium. Light refreshments will be provided.
