In this calming, science-backed workshop, you’ll learn how the vagus nerve influences your stress response, emotional regulation, sleep, digestion, chronic tension, and overall sense of safety in your body.
Led by Sara Becker, Doctor of Physical Therapy and founder of Releaseology, this experience combines nervous system education with gentle somatic practices, nervous system mobility, guided imagery, grounding techniques, mantra work, breathwork, self-release techniques, and stress-sensitive movement approaches designed to help your body shift out of survival mode.
Unlike traditional wellness workshops that can feel overly spiritual, intimidating, or like a stiff lecture, this workshop is designed to be approachable, practical, and adaptable for all experience levels.
You’ll leave with:

No fitness level or flexibility required. Movements and exercises are adaptable and can be done sitting or lying down with yoga mats, cushions, or bolsters.

What to Expect: Expect to move! Majority of the class can be done in seated and laying down. You are free to move/adjust throughout the class as you feel comfortable.
What to Bring: PLEASE BRING YOGA MATS, BOLSTERS, BLANKETS or MEDITATION PILLOWS you can do MOST activities in seated, but sometimes it's nice to have the flexibility to move around
