Summer Camp Adventure! Session 2

A camp like no other! Shaded by trees and surrounded by lush forest, the E.M.B.A.R.C. Youth Farm summer camp is designed for boys and girls grades 3rd - 5th looking to experience the outdoors like a true Ranger. We believe every camper brings incredible skills and talents with them that they have yet to discover. We strive to develop their hidden strengths through our Ranger-led activities that are sure to be remembered for summers to come.

Activities vary depending on the day's theme, but each day will involve planting activities and nature lessons. Additionally, each camper will have the opportunities for play time, games, etc. in the gardens and fields.

Camp takes place exclusively outside, so participants must dress accordingly. Participants are required to wear closed toe shoes and bring a reusable water bottle. We encourage long pants and hats during hot days. There will be sunscreen and bug spray available on site.

Fee: Residents $66 / Non-residents $66 + $20

All youth campers are expected to bring their own snacks and lunch each day.

Parents may begin to drop off participants no earlier than 8:30 am. Breakfast and programming begins at 9:00 am.

Pick up must be by 4:30 pm.

Waiver & Release: By registering for this activity, each participant hereby acknowledges and agrees that he/she is participating in this program at his/her own risk and holds DeKalb County and all its officers, agents, servants, and/or employees harmless from and against any and all claims, loss, damage, charge, or expense to which they or any of them may be put or subjected by reason of participant’s participation in this program. You further acknowledge that DeKalb County is not responsible for the acts of others participating in this program and the other participants may include, but not be limited to, interested individuals, members of civic groups, religious groups, or community group, and/or persons convicted of crimes and/or violations of County ordinances and ordered to provide community service. I give permission that all photographs, films, video recordings, and sound recordings of me and/or my child(ren) made by the DeKalb County Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs during this Naturalist program may be used non- commercially by the DeKalb County Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs to promotion and educational purposes. I understand and acknowledge that neither my child(ren) nor I will receive any compensation whatsoever for appearing in any photograph, film, video recording, or sound recording made by the DeKalb County Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs.
