Summer Landscape Tune Up

This class provides landscape professionals with practical training on pesticide label comprehension, calibration, calculations, and ornamental plant nutrient management. Participants will gain a better understanding of pesticide signal word categories, how to correctly interpret product labels for safe and effective applications, and how to make sound field decisions using real-world application scenarios. The training will emphasize Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for diagnosing plant nutrient problems, distinguishing deficiencies and toxicites from pests and diseases, and implementing appropriate corrective actions using soil, tissue, and water testing results.
