Discover the breathtaking beauty of Poland Municipal Forest.
Explore the rich summer canopy of Poland Municipal Forest on a guided walk with naturalist Tony Snovak. Participants will learn to identify native trees by their leaves, bark, buds, and growth patterns, and discover how each species fits into the forest ecosystem. We’ll also observe seasonal wildlife signs and discuss how summer conditions shape forest life.
Tony Snovak is an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist who leads engaging, curiosity-driven hikes focused on trees, seasonal ecology, and the hidden stories of local forests. He enjoys helping people slow down, observe closely, and build confidence in identifying native species. Tony partners with Wild You to support community education and stewardship, bringing an organized, thoughtful, and welcoming approach to every program.
