Clay Pit Ponds State Park Preserve is a 265-acre natural area near the southwest shore of Staten Island. The Interpretive Center offers the community free educational programs, cultural and natural history exhibits, and trail access.

Beat the summer heat at Clay Pit Ponds! There will be sprinklers, water tables, and watercolor painting. All ages welcome. We recommend bringing a towel and a change of clothes.WHEN: Saturday, August 16th. 11am - 2pm.WHERE: Nature Interpretive Center. Please use our address to navigate to the park: 2351 Veterans Road West, Staten Island, NY 10309.All programs are free! Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. If we are sold out, feel free to walk up and see if we have open spots.Outdoor programs are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather, call for updates.Questions?
