The Annenberg Community Beach House is a public beach site, open to all with no membership required.For more information on all the Beach House has to offer, visit annenbergbeachhouse.com.The Annenberg Community Beach House at Santa Monica State Beach is owned by the State of California and operated by the City of Santa Monica. The Annenberg Community Beach House is made possible by a generous gift from the Annenberg Foundation, at the direction of Wallis Annenberg, and in partnership with the City of Santa Monica and California State Parks. Additional funding was provided by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development.

Sunset Picnics are back at the Beach House for 2026!  Grab your picnic basket, your favorite people or come solo and join a communal table, and enjoy a sunset evening at the Beach House.

Looking for the perfect way to unwind this summer? Grab your picnic basket, your favorite people or come solo and join a communal table, and enjoy a sunset evening at the Beach House. Vibe to musical duos and take in the summer glow of sunset. Complimentary s'mores while they last. Join us!This free event is for all ages. RSVPs encouraged.

Communication ConsentBy signing up for this event, you agree to receive emails from the Annenberg Community Beach House on upcoming events and monthly hours.Beach House ParkingBeach House parking is available year-round on a first come, first served basis. Upon arrival, guests must pay for parking at Pay &amp; Display machines located in each section of the lot and display your receipt on the dashboard. Rates are $4 per hour or $15 per day. Exact change cash and credit cards are accepted. Guests displaying a valid Disabled Person placard or license plate may park in the Beach House lot for 50% the posted rate. Senior Beach Parking permits issued by the City of Santa Monica are valid in the Beach House lot. The footpath of the Marvin Braude bike trail connects to the Beach House.
