<h2>Join Massage Therapy Students as they learn a new modality.</h2> 4 NCBTMB CE/ $1009:00am - 1:00pmLOCATION:The Wellness Institute of Chester County402C Gordon DriveExton, PA 19341 Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) is a unique stretching technique that involves actively contracting the target muscle group, followed by a gentle and controlled stretch of that muscle. Through this class, you will gain understanding of the anatomical and physiological aspects of AIS, learn how this method can help lengthen muscles, release tension, and improve joint function, all while reducing the risk of injury. In this interactive hands-on BASIC Introductory class, you will learn:1. Description of the Modality2. Account of its historical development3. Benefits &amp; Contraindications4. Specific techniques for basic training Please wear comfortable flexible clothing. Bring a set of sheets, pillowcase or face cradle cover, blanket, and pump bottle with your preferred lotion or cream.You Do NOT need to bring a table, we have plenty!This class will be with current massage students at the WIofCC however only licensed massage therapists will earn continuing education credits.Certificates will be issued upon completion of the class/workshop.
