A 45 minute meetup dedicated to the simple idea that: Life is too short not to dance.

SPECIAL NOTE: The Great Kula Dance Experiment is a one day event.

Welcome to The Great Kula Dance Experiment

A 45 minute meetup dedicated to the idea that: Life's too short not to dance.

There will always be dishes and laundry to wash... emails to answer, errands to run and hundreds if not thousands of reasons to put off celebrating your one beautiful life.

This is your monthly reminder, not to.

For one morning each month, we’ll meet in tiny, little Zoom squares to dance from living rooms, bedrooms, home offices and back porches around the world. We’ll start with a quick meditation to help us get out of our heads, then we’ll move our bodies to an incredible playlist to help us celebrate life.

There’s no right or wrong way to do this. We’ll just dance… No choreography… No judgement… No disclaimers.

Just a great selection of music and a community of people brave enough to keep showing up to support each other.

About Your Donations to The Dance Experiment:

Each month, proceeds from the Dance Experiment will help support a non-profit that is doing important work in the outdoors.

This month, we'd like to introduce you to The Bronze Chapter -- whose mission is to transforms the outdoor experience for Black, Indigenous, people of color by making outdoor recreation and environmental education accessible, inclusive, joyful, and engaging. We think that's a pretty noble endeavor and we hope that you'll help us support them with a generous donation to the Dance Experiment.

What to Expect from this 45-minute Dance Party

  • A brief welcome and time to connect with attendees
  • 5-10 minutes of meditation
  • 25-30 minutes of dance
  • A program that supports and uplifts others

Life is short. Dance first… figure everything else out later.

About Your Instructor:

Anastasia Allison, the founder of Kula Cloth, will be your host for the Dance Experiment.

She started dancing on January 1st, 2021 - and hasn't stopped. She has danced extensively on asphalt, hardwood floors, laminate floors, grass, gravel, a floating dock, concrete, in Home Depot, at gas stations, on ferry boats and anywhere she can find a smooth surface. Dance has transformed her life in the most beautiful way, and she's genuinely thrilled to share this energy with you.
